On top of all the bug fixs that come with sp2, it also includes a neat feature that now allows software that only worked with win95 or winnt4, to work in win2k, it's called application compatibility-mode How to enable: 1. step one: install sp2, and restart 2. step two: log on as an administrator 3. step three: go to start-> run and type the following: regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll press the Enter key on your keyboard, you don"t need to restart How to use: 1. step one: install the software that did not work in win2K (but used to work in win95 or winnt4) 2. step two: create a shortcut for the software you want to run in compatebility mode 3. step three: right click on the shortcut, choose properties, you"ll find a new tab that"s called compatability, click it 4. step four: check the run in compatibility mode box, and choose from the drop down window either to run in window95 or winnt4 mode. Make sure you run the application from the compatibility mode enabled shortcut for the compatibility mode to take effect. How to disable: If you want to remove compatibility mode simply go to start-> run and type the following: regsvr32 /u %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll
